Listings come from the IRS list for Pakistan, and guides cite IRS pages. This page explains how we list agents, how we write, and how to ask for a correction.

Where listings come from

Every agent in the directory appears on the IRS list of acceptance agents in Pakistan. Agents that are not on the list are not shown. Each listing shows the date we last checked it against the IRS list.

Certifying agent or acceptance agent

The IRS marks acceptance agents with an asterisk, and certifying agents have none. We show the type as the IRS marks it. If our check is more than 90 days old, the listing says the type is not independently confirmed rather than showing a verified label.

Order and placement

Agents are listed A to Z. We do not rank agents or call any agent the best. Featured placements are shown first and labeled. See Disclosures.

How we write guides

Guides are written by the site's editorial team in plain English and link to IRS pages for factual claims. They are educational. They are not tax or legal advice and have not been reviewed by an EA or CPA. We do not state prices or provider claims unless a guide says they are illustrative.
